Financial Literacy for Youth Month

The Luncheon will feature three speakers:

Ms. Tracey Greggs – Department of Public Instruction, K-12 Social Studies Chief. http://www.dpi.state.nc.us

The Honorable Janet Cowell - Elected in 2008, she is the state’s 27th popularly-elected State Treasurer and is the first woman to win the post. www.nctreasurer.com

Ms. Laura Levine - Executive Director of the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy. http://www.jumpstartcoalition.org

NC Jump$tart Coalition will also be presenting the first annual NC JumpStart Award for Outstanding Contributions to Financial Education for Youth. The award will go to an individual that has shown a dedication to promoting the importance of financial education.

The Luncheon will be March 25, 2010 at Marbles Museum in downtown Raleigh. The event begins at noon with box lunches provided by Roly Poly.
