NCCEE is proud to present these programs which enhance the teaching and learning experiences for NC educators and students.  All of our program winners are invited to attend regional awards banquets in the spring of each year where their accomplishments are celebrated with their parents, teachers, educational leaders and prominent business leaders.

Stock Market Game™-Grades 4-College/Adult

The Stock Market Game gives students the chance to invest a hypothetical $100,000 in a real-time portfolio and compete against other NC students for cash prizes. They think they're playing a game. You know they're learning economic and financial concepts they'll use for the rest of their lives.  Follow up the SMG experience by entering InvestWrite*, a national essay competition.

The NCCEE is proud to partner with DPI in offering C&E teachers the opportunity to assist their efforts in fulfilling the State Standards and Person Financial Literacy guidelines. The SMG is an online, interactive stock market economy, they are also strengthening 32st century skills. The 2009 spring session of the Stock Market  Game (SMG) was a huge success in part due to the grant provided by the Department of Public Instruction. This was granted in recognition of the program's outstanding ability motivate students and provide proven results!
