The North Carolina Council on Economic Education (NCCEE’s) signature programs are standards-based workshops and resources. Economic education staff development is offered on a variety of topics, but all programs are always correlated with the North Carolina standard course of study appropriate for the subject matter and grade level.

Interested in training courses on economic and personal financial literacy? NCCEE provides in-service training at no cost to schools or teachers. (NCCEE may occassionally ask a school or system to help offset travel or other costs related to sessions.)
Upon request, we will gladly visit a school or school district to train teachers on a variety of economic and financial concepts. We also provide teachers with sample lesson plans, teaching strategies, and resources they can use in their own classroom to further their students’ economic literacy.
