Economics and Financial Literacy Workshops
Through our network of University Centers for Economic Education and
teacher ambassadors, the NCCEE is able to provide workshops
and staff development
sessions covering economics and
personal financial literacy from Kindergarten through Adult Education levels. The
following are some of the workshops that we offer. If you are interested in

Financing Your Future
is a complete
personal finance program on DVD for high school teachers and their students.
This personal finance program contains five videos that cover topics such as
investing in one's own human capital, developing a banking relationship,
understanding credit and debt, and creating a budget. Each video is
complemented with three standards-based classroom lesson plans that
teachers, parents and mentors can use to reinforce the concepts demonstrated
in the videos.
2008 Financing Your Future Workshops
The following staff
development programs were made possible by the National Council on Economic
Education through funding from the United States Department of Education Office
of Innovation and Improvement. Additional program sponsors include HSBC, the
North Carolina Council on Economic Education, and the Centers for Economic
Education at East Carolina University and Fayetteville State University. For
