Economics Challenge State Champions Announced!
The top eight teams from high schools across North Carolina competed in the final round of the NCCEE’s Economics Challenge State Championship. 2020 proved to be a challenging year but educators and students across the board remained committed to finishing what they started with gusto! Although the landscape changed from the previous format of a written exam and head-to-head Quiz Bowls to an online platform, they battled for the top spots in two divisions: the David Ricardo Division, for first-time competitors who have taken one economics course, and the Adam Smith Division for AP, international baccalaureate, and honors students. Now the State Champions head to semi-finals for a chance to advance to Nationals!
