NCCEE Announces the State Champions of the 2017 NC Economics Challenge!
Raleigh, NC, April 4, 2017 – NCCEE announces the 2017 NCCEE Economics Challenge State Champions. The NC Economics Challenge was held at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Charlotte Branch on March 31. Congratulations to our winning teams and finalists! State Champions: Team ATF from William G. Enloe High School in Wake County, Adam Smith Division and Team Unicorn 4 from the NC School of Science and Mathematics in Durham County, David Ricardo Division. Both teams will proceed to the Southeast US Regional Competitions in their respective divisions. Winners of the regional competitions will proceed to New York in May! We also honored Team Unicorn 7 from NC School of Science and Mathematics in Durham County, second place, and Team CA from Cary Academy from Wake County, third place in the Adam Smith Division. Team Croatia from Marvin Ridged High in Union County, second place and Team Atkins Scholars from Simon G. Atkins Academic & Technology High School in Guilford County, third place.
