NCCEE Partners with SchermCo Foundation for Family Finance Night!

Last week, NCCEE partnered with the SchermCo Foundation to host “Family Finance Night” at University Park Creative Arts School in Charlotte. While parents received some fantastic personal finance information from Common Wealth Charlotte, we hosted fun financial literacy activities for the kids. One activity had children imagine a present they would like to give to someone important in their lives, and then make a plan to earn or save money to purchase it. Another activity had students plan for a pet by allocating a fixed budget towards caring for their pet’s needs and wants. A special thank you to the volunteers and school staff that made this event possible!
