The Personal Finance Challenge Comes to a Close!
The top five teams from high schools across North Carolina competed in the final round of the NCCEE’s Personal Finance Challenge State Championship. 2021 proved to be a challenging year but educators and students across the board remained committed to their students maintaining and excelling in their financial learning! The landscape changed from the previous format of written tests and rapid-fire quiz-bowl to a virtual challenge that included written tests, critical thinking round where students had to present a financial plan for a fictitious family scenario, and a final quiz-bowl final where the top two teams went head to head! Now the high school State Champions head to the National Semi-Finals!
Thank you to every educator, student, parent, coach, volunteer, program partners, Voya Financial, Campbell University, and The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Charlotte Branch who helped make the 2021 NC Personal Finance Challenge a success with their unwavering support during these challenging times.
Congratulations to everyone and the winners!
